School Caretaker - Cheshunt

We're currently working with a welcoming and well-run school in Cheshunt that is looking to appoint a reliable, hands on Caretaker to join their team on a full time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a school community, and wants to make a real difference behind the scenes in keeping the site safe, clean, and running smoothly.

The Role:

You'll play a key role in the day to day running of the school site, including:

• Opening and securing the premises
• General maintenance and basic repairs
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
• Supporting with site cleanliness and upkeep
• Assisting staff and leadership with any ad hoc site needs

What We're Looking For:

• Previous caretaking experience within a school or a similar/transferable setting (e.g. estates, facilities, housing, care homes)
• A proactive, dependable and practical individual
• Someone who takes initiative and can work independently
• Strong understanding of health & safety on site
• DBS/CRB on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is highly desirable
