New Directions Education are currently working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive schools across the Bradford area, who are actively recruiting for experienced and professional School Administrators to join their teams ahead of the new Academic Year. This is an excellent opportunity to work within busy educational environments, providing vital administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents.
We want to hear from:- Experience working within a school administration role or similar office-based position
- Knowledge of school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
- A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. The role involves:
- Managing reception duties and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and updating school databases
- Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
- Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting processes
- Assisting with admissions, safeguarding administration, and general school documentation
- Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Ensuring all administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately
