Axcis Education is urgently recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to join a busy school office on a temporary/secondment basis. This is a key role supporting daily operations, SEND administration, and acting as a main point of contact for parents/carers.
Role ResponsibilitiesOversee day to day administration of the school office; maintain and develop effective administrative systems and procedures; manage statutory obligations for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN); collate and submit data to the Department for Education and local authorities; coordinate and support SEND annual review processes; liaise with external agencies, feeder schools, and support services; organise meetings, prepare documentation, and ensure accurate record keeping; support communication with parents/carers regarding SEND reviews; ensure all documentation meets required standards and deadlines.
Requirements- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Previous experience working in a school office environment
- Strong knowledge of school administrative systems and procedures
- Experience using school MIS (Databridge desirable)
- Confident with Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Willingness to complete First Aid training if required
- Safeguarding commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Adherence to safeguarding, child protection, and whistleblowing procedures
