Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage scholar services to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance scholar support and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver tailored programmes and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all scholar-related activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for scholar enquiries, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Organise events and workshops to promote scholar development and community-building.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of scholar services, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and external regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scholar Services Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing services or programmes within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience working at Oxford University and within Admissions.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools and databases for record-keeping and reporting.
  • A proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset to address challenges efficiently.
