Relief Scheme Support Officers to work across services in Swansea. This could include day shifts, weekends, sleep in shifts or wakeful nights shifts.
This is a Scheme Support Officer role, based in our Supported accommodation services, on a relief basis. This position is ideal for individuals with other commitments or someone who wants to try something new. It gives you the chance to feel you are making a difference daily.
Managers will offer shifts in the Swansea area (or further if you wish) with as much notice as possible, but you might be contacted on an ad-hoc basis when shift cover is needed. As such, the hours may not be guaranteed.
Services in the areaCam Nesaf - 24-hour temporary housing support in the Swansea area for young people aged between 16 and 21 years old, providing advice and guidance on training, education and employment and supporting young people to develop independent living skills to enable them to move onto independent sustainable accommodation.
Swansea Young Persons - temporary accommodation to young people age 16-24 who are experiencing homelessness. The service delivers intensive housing related supported to individuals who are ready to gain independence and a tenancy of their own.
Llys Awen -24-hour temporary supported accommodation in the Gorseinon area of Swansea for young people aged between 16 to 21 years old, enabling young people to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives within a Psychologically Informed Environment.
Skills And Experience Needed- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
- An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people's lives
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
- Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations
