Scheduler / Dispatcher - Lincoln City Centre (Office Based)
Full time (37 hours), Fixed Term to March 2027 £26,000

There's something really rewarding about bringing order to a busy day.
Taking lots of moving parts, competing priorities and last-minute changes, and turning them into a plan that actually works for everyone. A plan that keeps customers happy and helps a team out on the road do their jobs properly.
If that sounds like something you would enjoy, this could be a great next step.
You'll be joining a friendly, supportive scheduling team where your role is to keep everything running smoothly. You'll take responsibility for your own area, planning work for field-based technicians and making sure each job is booked in at the right time, in the right place, with the customer always in mind.
It isn't just about filling slots on a system. You will need to think ahead, make decisions and adjust quickly when things change. Some days will go to plan, others will need a rethink halfway through. You'll be balancing what the customer needs with what is realistically possible, and finding the best solution in between.
A big part of the role is communication. You'll be speaking with customers, technicians and colleagues across the business, building relationships and keeping everyone informed. When things get busy, you'll be one of the people others rely on to stay calm and keep things on track.
If you have not worked in planning before, that is absolutely fine. What matters most is your approach. Full training is provided, starting with a structured classroom-based course alongside other new starters, followed by a proper mentoring programme with experienced planners. You will not be left to figure it out on your own.
The role would suit someone who is naturally organised but can stay flexible when things change. Someone who is comfortable talking to different people, can juggle a few things at once, and knows how to decide what needs doing first.
You'll work 37 hours per week on a rota between 7:00am and 9:30pm, Monday to Sunday. This includes weekends and bank holidays, so it does need you to be happy with that level of flexibility.
In return, you'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, with clear opportunities to develop over time as you build your skills.
You'll also be joining a business that genuinely cares about its people. There is a real focus on inclusion, with an active community where colleagues can connect, share experiences and feel part of something wider. It is the kind of place where people are supported to be themselves and to succeed.
If you are looking for a role where you can learn, be supported and make a real difference day to day, then apply now. #
