Scada Engineer

Role Description:

Seeking an experienced SCADA/PLC Consultant with deep expertise in GE iFIX systems for support, monitoring, and development tasks. The consultant should be flexible with working hours and able to provide L2 and L3 level support in a production-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• SCADA and PLC Development & Troubleshooting (GE iFIX)
• Configuration of IGS OPC servers, user and security area settings
• Working with iFIX 6.5 SCADA environments
• Exposure to Historian Server and related data archiving tools
• Server patching, GE License handling, and patch updates
• Support, monitoring, and incident resolution for SCADA systems
• Participation in shutdown activities and system upgrades
• Coordination with key users and external vendors
• Provide L2 and L3 support, handle escalations
• Ensure 24/7 availability support readiness (as required)

Experience Required:

Years of Experience: 6-8 years

• Proven expertise in SCADA/PLC systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Prior experience supporting GE iFIX systems is essential
