Saw Operator

Job Title: Saw Operator - Bespoke Blind Manufacturing

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team producing bespoke blinds. This role involves working with precision machinery to cut lengths of metal components used in the assembly of finished products.

You will be responsible for operating a cutting saw machine to accurately measure and cut metal profiles to specification. The role requires a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

• Operate saw cutting machinery safely and effectively
• Measure and cut metal lengths to precise specifications
• Read job sheets and follow production instructions
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, callipers, and gauges
• Carry out quality checks on finished cuts
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work as part of a production team to meet daily targets

• Good numerical and mathematical ability
• Confident using measuring tools accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and production drawings
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not essential

• Day shift: Monday to Thursday
• Friday off (with optional overtime available on Fridays)
• Own transport ideally due to location or bike if local.
