SAP XFT Consultant - ABAP/SAPUI5/XFT Add-ons

We are currently supporting a key client in the SAP ecosystem and seeking an experienced SAP XFT Consultant to join their digital development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge XFT solutions and contribute to enhancing business-critical SAP applications within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using SAPUI5 and ABAP within the SAP ecosystem.

• Design and implement solutions leveraging XFT Add-ons (eg, XFT Contract Manager, XFT Document Composer).

• Customise and enhance SAP modules (MM, SD, FI) in line with evolving business requirements.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders to convert functional needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Perform unit testing, support UAT, and provide post-go-live technical support.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

• Document technical designs, development processes, and configuration settings.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience

• Proven expertise in SAPUI5/Fiori application development

• Practical experience working with XFT Add-ons (Analyzer, Workflow tools, etc.)

• Familiarity with OData services and Back End integration for SAPUI5

• Solid understanding of core SAP modules such as MM, SD, or FI

• Good grasp of SAP enhancement frameworks, BAdIs, and user exits

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

• Strong communicator with ability to work both independently and in Agile teams

Desirable:

• Experience working in S/4HANA environments

• Agile methodology (Scrum, Jira, DevOps pipelines)

• Knowledge of SAP Business Workflow or BRF+

• Dutch language skills (an advantage for certain XFT implementations)
