Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing activities across a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The role will be responsible for defining and governing the overall test strategy, coordinating SIT/UAT cycles, managing defects, and ensuring business readiness across multiple workstreams and integrations.

This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone comfortable operating within complex global SAP programmes involving business stakeholders, system integrators, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall SAP testing strategy across SIT, UAT, regression, dress rehearsal, and cutover testing
• Manage end-to-end testing activities across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems
• Coordinate business users, test leads, and third-party vendors during test execution
• Review and improve test scenarios, scripts, and coverage
• Establish defect governance processes including triage, prioritisation, reporting, and resolution tracking
• Drive test planning, entry/exit criteria, RAID management, and status reporting
• Ensure test data readiness and environment availability across all phases
• Chair daily defect calls and testing governance meetings
• Track testing KPIs including defect leakage, execution progress, and quality metrics
• Support deployment readiness, hypercare preparation, and go-live activities
• Work closely with PMO, functional leads, integration teams, and business process owners

Required Experience

• Proven experience as SAP Test Manager on large SAP programmes
• Strong SAP S/4HANA project experience
• Experience managing SIT, UAT, regression, and E2E testing phases
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and integrations
• Experience working within global or multi-country deployments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or Solution Manager
• Ability to operate in fast-paced transformation environments
