Job Title: SAP S4HANA Plant Maintenance Consultant

Total Experience Required: 10+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: 5+ years in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 2 times a week at office)

Languages Required: English, Dutch is a plus

Visa/Work Authorization Status:

1. Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in the Netherlands
2. If you currently possess a valid work visa for Europe or the UK, we can support the process of securing work authorization for the Netherlands

Work Location: Amsterdam, NL

1. Must be currently based in the Netherlands, or
2. Willing to relocate to the Netherlands from anywhere within Europe or the UK
3. Relocation support is available for selected candidates relocating from within Europe or the UK
4. Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

We are looking for a seasoned SAP S4HANA Plant Maintenance Consultant for a contract role based in the Netherlands (partial remote). This is a high-impact opportunity to support a major transformation project while engaging directly with business users and change control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and provide functional expertise in SAP PM
• Handle day-to-day queries from business users efficiently
• Participate in ACCB (Change Control Board) to review and approve/disapprove change requests
• Contribute to ongoing S4HANA transformation discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system changes and enhancements

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance
• Deep knowledge of SAP S4HANA PM module
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven experience with change request evaluation and implementation
• Ability to operate independently and work in a hybrid model

Optional Skills

• Involvement in S4HANA migration or greenfield projects
• Familiarity with other SAP modules (MM, PP, or QM)
• Experience in utilities, manufacturing, or asset-intensive industries
• Functional testing and documentation experience
• SAP certification in Plant Maintenance or S4HANA
