SAP MM Application Engineer (Medical Device Sector)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a German speaking SAP MM Application Engineer (Medical Device Sector). The role is a permanent position based in Solothurn Canton & comes with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

• Optimize procedures & processes in procurement & materials management environments.
• Define & develop future, cross-site requirements in SAP MM environments as well as interfaces to adjacent modules such as WM, SD or RCD.
• Provide global support to specialist departments & key users in application issues.
• Hold responsibility for system settings & outputs, taking into account strategic specifications (customizing, reports, programming, release change, testing, creation of system documentation, etc.).
• Test & validate new processes whilst taking regulatory requirements into account.
• Support problem, change & incident management.
• Coordinate & supervise external employees (consultants, programmers) in the application area.
• Carry out sub-project management &/or collaborate in projects within an international environment.

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional SAP experience along with strong experience in SAP MM (including experience in customization).
• Skilled & experienced in SAP Application Support, preferably experienced also in SAP Application Engineering.
• Ideally experienced adjacent SAP Modules (eg WM, SD, FI).
• Any experience in S/4 HANA Environments is considered advantageous.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree with specialization in Computer Science, Business Administration or similar.
• Communicative & confident personality & highly service-oriented.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a very good command of German (to at least B2 level) are mandatory requirements.
