My client is looking for a SAP Electronic Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM) Solution Architect to join a new S4 HANA implementation project, to be worked remotely.

Highly experienced SAP Electronic Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM) Solution Architects who will own the solution design and guide future enhancements throughout a 3-year engagement.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Electronic Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM) Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize SAP-based solutions that support product data management, engineering change control, and integration across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will act as the subject matter expert (SME) in EPLM, bridging business requirements with SAP technical capabilities to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-proof solutions.

• Solution Design & Architecture
• Lead the design and architecture of SAP EPLM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise IT strategy.
• Define integration strategies between SAP EPLM, ERP, PLM, CAD, and other engineering/manufacturing systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Implementation & Delivery
• Oversee configuration, customization, and deployment of SAP EPLM modules.
• Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis, development, and functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary liaison between business units, engineering, IT, and external vendors.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices and innovative approaches to product life cycle management.
• Governance & Quality Assurance
• Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and frameworks for SAP EPLM.
• Conduct solution reviews and quality checks to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Support & Continuous Improvement
• Provide expertise for issue resolution, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation in product life cycle management.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Proven experience as an SAP Solution Architect with a focus on Electronic Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM).
• Strong knowledge of SAP PLM, CAD integration, Document Management, Engineering Change Management, and Digital Twin concepts.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and integration with PLM/engineering systems.
• Experience in large-scale SAP implementation or transformation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center), or related technologies.
• Knowledge of discrete manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies in SAP project delivery.
• SAP Certification(s) in PLM/EPLM or Solution Architecture.
