SAP Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support a SAP transformation programme.

The role will focus on assessing the current data landscape and designing how data integrates with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and potentially SAP Datasphere.

You will help define data flows, integration approaches, and ensure data is ready for reporting and planning requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing data sources and data flows
• Identify gaps in data quality, automation, and standardisation
• Define data integration between source systems, S/4HANA and SAC
• Support evaluation of SAP Datasphere for data management and reporting
• Define data transformation and validation rules
• Ensure data processes align with governance and regulatory requirements
• Produce clear documentation and integration designs

Requirements

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA data environments
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and data integration concepts
• Experience with data architecture or data modelling
• Understanding of ETL tools, APIs, or data integration frameworks
• Strong stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in insurance or financial services environments
• Exposure to SAP Datasphere or enterprise data lakes (eg Snowflake)
• SAP data or analytics certifications
