Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end installation and configuration of SAP BODS software across various environments (development, testing, and production).
• Set up and configure SAP BODS repositories, job servers, and access servers.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure compatibility of hardware, operating systems, and databases for SAP BODS installations.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide resolutions to ensure system stability and functionality.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of the SAP BODS environment for maximum efficiency.
• Implement security protocols and access controls for SAP BODS systems.
• Provide documentation for installation procedures, configurations, and system architecture.
• Assist in upgrades, patches, and migrations of SAP BODS systems while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Monitor and maintain the SAP BODS environment, identifying and resolving technical issues proactively.
• Work closely with development and data teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP BODS with other systems and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP BODS installation techniques, best practices, and tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing and configuring SAP BODS across multiple environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP BODS architecture, components, and system requirements.
• Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA) and their integration with SAP BODS.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux for SAP BODS installations.
• Experience with SAP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA) and their integration with SAP BODS.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to installation and configuration issues.
• Excellent documentation skills for installation procedures and system configurations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BODS certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP DataServices upgrades and migrations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for SAP BODS deployments.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of network configurations and firewalls related to SAP BODS installations.
