SAP Basis Team Leader with conversational German B2 level

SAP Basis Team Leader - we are actively looking for a German speaker with at least B2 Level - This role comes with good home office allowance.

• 5+ years of professional experience as SAP Basis Administrator, ideally in an SAP S/4HANA environment
• Experience with Microsoft and/or SAP Cloud environments is a strong asset
• First leadership exposure (team lead or project lead) appreciated
• Solid expertise in SAP Security & Authorizations
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent technical education
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and occasional weekend/holiday interventions
• Fluent in German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2)

Your Mission:

You will be responsible for the stability, security and continuous evolution of a modern SAP landscape in a complex international environment. In this key leadership role, you will define the SAP architecture roadmap, manage a skilled team and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape
• (SAP S/4HANA, SAP MES, SAP EWM) and its integration with Cloud solutions (SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, SAP Work Zone) and other systems
• Define and further develop SAP strategy including architecture, technologies, standards and roadmap
• Lead and develop the SAP Basis team and coordinate external partners & service providers
• Advise IT management on architecture, infrastructure and security topics
• Own SAP Security and authorization concepts, compliance and governance
• Manage and optimize SAP Basis infrastructure (release management, patches, sizing, performance, HA/DR, monitoring)
• Lead SAP infrastructure projects and participate in business-driven projects (eg migrations, rollouts, cloud integration)
• Ensure proper incident, problem and change management and maintain full operational documentation
• German at C1 level is a must for this role.
