SAP Basis Project Manager

*SAP Basis Project Manager - 12 months+ - Spain*

RED Global is working with one of our key clients on a new long-term freelance opportunity for an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in SAP Basis. You'll lead complex infrastructure-related SAP projects involving system upgrades, cloud environments, and Basis operations.

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months + possible extension
• Location: Madrid, Spain - other locations could also be considered
• Language: English fluent, Spanish desirable

Key requirements:

• 10+ years of SAP Basis experience
• Proven track record with installations, upgrades, system refreshes (ECC, BW/BI, PI/PO)
• Expertise in complex environments (DR, BRS)
• Experience working with SAP on Linux/Wintel and across HANA, Oracle, and SQL databases
• Cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Experience in managing Basis-related projects and audits
• Strong Project Management background (risk assessment, planning, leadership, communication)

This is a Project Manager role - the successful candidate will oversee infrastructure delivery across multiple initiatives, collaborate with an existing technical team, and drive project success without being hands-on technically.
