Project Context

We are seeking a highly experienced and independent SAP Authorization Consultant to act as the critical link between our onshore business units and our nearshore technical team. You will step into a complex environment to stabilize current operations and facilitate a structured knowledge handover.

This role requires a "Bridgehead" mentality: you must be able to gather scattered technical requirements in German, stabilize the system by fixing immediate defects, and structure this knowledge to effectively hand it over to the nearshore team in Czech.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Stability & Defect Resolution

• Analyze and fix complex authorization defects and incidents in the current SAP landscape.
• Perform root cause analysis using trace tools (ST01, STAUTHTRACE) and SU53.
• Optimize SU24 values to reduce future maintenance efforts.
• Clean up and redesign roles where necessary to ensure compliance and functional accuracy.

Knowledge Consolidation & Transfer (The "Bridge")

• Actively interview and shadow various onshore stakeholders (German-speaking) to gather scattered process knowledge and authorization requirements.
• Consolidate fragmented information into a centralized, structured, and documented format.
• Create comprehensive documentation (concepts, role designs, test cases) in English.
• Conduct training and handover sessions specifically for the nearshore support team (Czech-speaking) to ensure they are fully autonomous.

Your Profile

SAP Expertise:

• Deep technical understanding of SAP Authorizations (PFCG, Role Design, User Administration).
• Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori Authorizations is highly desirable.

Language Skills (Non-Negotiable):

• German (B2): Required to understand complex requirements from onshore colleagues.
• Czech (C1/Native): Required to explain nuances and train the nearshore team effectively.
• English (B2+): Required for standard project documentation.

What We Need From You

• Proven track record in SAP Security projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical authorization objects.
• Experience in "clean-up" or transition projects
