Programme Overview

Our client is undertaking a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme, modernising their enterprise asset management landscape. This is a critical role within the programme, responsible for leading SAP Asset Management/EAM/PM workstreams and driving best-practice delivery across the organisation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Asset Management Product Owner to take ownership of the asset management stream within a major S/4HANA transformation. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring successful design, build, and deployment of SAP PM/EAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Asset Management/PM workstream within an S/4HANA programme

• Act as Product Owner for EAM-related processes and solutions

• Own functional design, backlog prioritisation, and roadmap planning

• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into SAP solutions

• Drive solution design aligned with S/4HANA best practices

• Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment activities

• Manage UAT and support go-live and hypercare phases

• Work closely with system integrators and internal teams

• Ensure data migration, asset structures, and maintenance strategies are aligned

• Support change management and end-user adoption

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Asset Management/SAP PM/EAM

• Proven delivery experience on S/4HANA transformation projects

• Experience as Product Owner, Functional Lead, or Workstream Lead

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Plant Maintenance (PM)

  • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

  • Maintenance planning & scheduling

  • Notifications, work orders, task lists

  • Asset hierarchies and master data

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Experience working in large, complex programmes

• Fluent English (French or Hungarian is a plus)

• Comfortable working in hybrid/on-site environments

Nice to Have

• Experience in manufacturing, utilities, energy, or asset-heavy industries

• Agile/Scrum delivery experience

• Experience working with global rollouts

• Knowledge of SAP FSM, MM integration, or mobility solutions
