Job Title: Senior SAP Architect

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions in a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving integration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migrations and ECC to S/4HANA upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end SAP solutions aligned with strategic business goals.
• Lead integration projects between SAP and non-SAP systems across enterprise architecture.
• Manage and execute SAP ECC Support Pack Upgrades including system design, data migration, and post-upgrade support.
• Oversee SAP landscape migrations from on-premise to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and high performance.
• Develop and maintain custom SAP solutions with hands-on ABAP and Fiori development.
• Implement robust integrations using ALE/IDocs, ODATA, REST, and SOAP.
• Model system architecture and business processes using Archimate and UML.
• Integrate SAP with middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO, TIBCO, and others.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and solution architects for cohesive system delivery.
• Ensure all SAP architectures adhere to security standards and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the SAP team.

Required Competencies & Skills:

• Experience: 10+ years of SAP architecture and integration experience
• Languages: English & Dutch

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite, and SAP Cloud Platform
• Strong experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration
• Mastery of integration protocols: ALE/IDocs, ODATA, REST, SOAP
• Proficiency in SAP PI/PO, TIBCO, and other middleware platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud migration strategies for SAP environments
• Skilled in architecture modeling tools: Archimate and UML
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with modeling standards like BPMN and SysML
• Exposure to DevOps methodologies in SAP environments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and advanced data integration techniques
