SAP ABAP Developer - Permanent

We're looking for a skilled Senior SAP Software Engineer to join our client's SAP team. If you're comfortable working across both Back End (ABAP, integrations) and Front End (UI5/Fiori) in a dynamic, international startup, this could be for you!

Your Role 

• As Senior SAP Software Engineer, you are part of the Core Finance Tech team, which develops Products in close collaboration with our Finance & Legal Department. In a highly integrated and automated system landscape, you design and implement solutions in S/4HANA that are scalable and seamlessly integrated with the rest of our tech stack.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the Core Finance Product Development: Lead the design and iterative implementation of state-of-art solutions in S/4HANA Cloud, supporting the development of SAP as part of a larger Finance Product.
• Interface Development: Develop interfaces to integrate SAP with multiple internal and external systems, always leveraging latest technology trends and aiming for reliability.
• Obsess About Customers: Create a deep understanding of internal customers' needs. Leverage your SAP expertise to create gap-analysis, provide best practice insights and proactively come up with solutions to drive our SAP landscape forward.
• Support System Architecture Strategy: Be the main point of contact for SAP technology topics and support the ongoing design of our overall system architecture.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of ABAP and CPI experience in S/4HANA Cloud with heavy focus in building interfaces to third-party systems.
• Degree in Technology or any related field.
• Ability to translate complex functional requirements into end-to-end solutions using different technologies.
• Experience in product development and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in the following technologies: SAP ABAP (RICEFW), SAP Integration Suite and Adapters (API Management, Open Connectors, RFC/BAPI, IDoc, REST, SOAP, ODATA, etc.), JAVA & JavaScript, SAP UX (GUI, Web Dynpro, UI5/Fiori), Cloud Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, etc.). Functional SAP FICO knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly analytical and data-driven, coupled with customer obsession and eagerness to work in a fast paced and impact-driven environment.
• Fluent in English.
