SAP ABAP Developer - Generative AI SDK Development - 6month contract

My client is looking for a very creative and technically able ABAP Developer to assist in the development of ABAP within an AI environment.

You will collaborate with product and development teams to architect, implement, and optimize SDK components enabling seamless integration of Generative AI capabilities within ABAP, for example AI Agent Frameworks or SAP BTP GenAI Hub's Orchestration Service. The role requires hands-on development, technical leadership, and creative thinking to solve complex challenges at the intersection of SAP ABAP and state-of-the-art AI technologies.

Skills required:
5+ years of advanced ABAP programming and troubleshooting experience
Strong commitment to product quality including test driven development
Experience working on or developing innovative tooling and frameworks for SAP solutions
Passion for problem-solving and collaboration
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts

Bonus points for:
Knowledge of AI/ML technologies or experience with Generative AI frameworks/APIs
Familiarity with SAP BTP or RAP
