We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join Hensall Food's team as a Sanitation Operator at our Ready Meals Plant. The Sanitation Operator is responsible for washing and sanitizing equipment, utensils and production areas at the Ready Meals Plant.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform washing and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils and areas as per Sanitation Lead and Production Manager instructions
• Perform shift sanitation tasks ensuring RM equipment and areas are cleaned after the run as per written sanitation programs
• Dismantle and set up production equipment before and after sanitation is completed
• Provide proper cleaning directions to the support sanitation staff, and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed properly and on schedule
• Complete/assist in the completion of sanitation checklists/paperwork as per the sanitation program
• Follow all HC Health and Safety (especially wearing proper sanitation related PPEs), Environmental, Quality and HACCP policies and procedures
• Report on all potential quality and food safety issues to the HFI management
• All other duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Job Requirements:

• Highly motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Technical knowledge and understanding of equipment functions, dismantling procedures
• Team-oriented and ability to collaborate with other employees

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years sanitation related experience or working experience in a food manufacturing facility
