SAN Storage & Backup Engineer x2 - UK Wide

Salary: £47-52,000 per annum + permanent benefits + on-call
Clearance Required: Eligible for Security Check (SC)

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Storage & Backup Engineer to join a growing Infrastructure team supporting multiple high-profile clients. This is a forward-looking role that blends operational responsibility with opportunities to contribute to project and transition work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing BAU support for SAN and backup environments
• Managing end-to-end backup configuration and resolving failed backups
• Maintaining documentation and preparing management reports
• Implementing approved changes following client change management processes
• Managing disaster recovery testing and tape management/rotation

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

• Familiarity with SAN switch management commands (Brocade and Cisco)
• Experience with storage management software
• Knowledge of HP and EMC storage technologies (PowerStore, Isilon, ECS, Unity)
• Hands-on experience with Brocade and SCAN and Cisco Switches
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) for Incident/Change Management
• Experience using Veritas NetBackup
• PowerShell/Python Scripting
