On behalf of this Client, AMS are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst (Asset Management) based in London (Hybrid), for a 3 months contract role.

Job description - the role

Purpose of the role:
As Salesforce Business Analyst (Asset Management) you will map current usage, assess the architecture and data, and produce clear recommendations, particularly around client data strategy for a retail-facing Salesforce platform, so the business can reduce risk, improve operations and prioritise change.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

What you'll do:

• Lead a discovery to understand how Salesforce is used across the retail/direct proposition.
• Review and document:
  • technology architecture and data flow diagrams.
  • platform usage patterns and integrations.
  • key stakeholders, teams and their responsibilities.
  • existing change/backlog items and governance processes.
  • operational teams, platform costs and compliance requirements.
• Deliver a top-to-bottom review of the Salesforce platform and present clear, actionable recommendations.
• Define (and where needed) prioritise remediation and roadmap options, with a focus on client data strategy and data quality.

The skills you'll need:

• Significant hands-on experience with Salesforce in retail or direct-to-consumer environments.
• Background in asset management/financial services strongly preferred, familiarity with retail investment platforms and client data considerations is highly valuable.
• Strong ability to interpret platform usage, assess architecture, and translate technical findings into business recommendations.
• Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous environments and driving discovery with minimal direction.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
