About the Role

Smart Communications is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design, optimization, and growth of its internal Salesforce ecosystem. Reporting to the Data Operations Manager, this role will balance strategic platform planning with hands-on development, supporting core functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, stakeholder communication skills, and a passion for scalable architecture and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Architect scalable, secure Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals
• Development: Build and maintain Apex code, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations
• Integration & Data Governance: Implement APIs and maintain data security, performance, and integrity
• Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business needs into technical designs and partner with cross-functional teams
• Platform Strategy: Guide platform evolution, org health, feature adoption, and long-term scalability
• Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, data quality controls, and system governance
• Project Execution: Scope and deliver Salesforce enhancements, working closely with admin and business teams
• Collaboration: Align solutions with enterprise-wide data strategies and operational needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, ideally in architect or technical lead roles
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II and Architect certs are a plus
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, automation, and performance optimization
• Experience working with APIs, third-party integrations, and DevOps tools
• Proven success supporting Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success use cases
• Experience in SaaS, Martech, or CCM environments is preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
