Business Development Executive

We are currently recruiting a Business Development Executive to cover the East of Ireland.

This field-based role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation, developing new business while maintaining strong customer relationships across an established territory.

You will be selling into retailers, convenience stores, garages, forecourts, service stations, motor factors, automotive parts suppliers and motor dealerships, helping customers grow their business while expanding market share.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across the East of Ireland.
• Manage existing customer relationships.
• Visit customers throughout your territory.
• Present new products and promotional campaigns.
• Achieve agreed sales targets.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing.
• Maintain CRM records and sales activity reports.
• Build long-term customer partnerships.
• Identify opportunities within the automotive, retail and convenience sectors.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in field sales or business development.
• Experience selling into motor factors, automotive aftermarket, retail, FMCG or forecourt sectors is desirable.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self motivated and commercially driven.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.

This territory includes Dublin, Swords, Drogheda, Dundalk, Navan, Ashbourne, Naas, Newbridge, Bray, Greystones and surrounding areas.
