Key requirements
  • Driving licence and access to own car
  • Previous property sales experience
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems, including MS Teams, Word, Excel & Outlook
About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join our successful Town and Country Homes team and be part of our ongoing growth ambitions.

Based in our Edinburgh office, this role will focus on our markets to the west and north of Edinburgh, with the opportunity to be involved in sales across the wider rural market.

As a property Sales Negotiator, you'll take full ownership of the sales process from beginning to end. This will involve the effective marketing of properties, expertly liaising between buyers and sellers, negotiating terms, and ensuring a smooth sale.

You'll keep a close eye on the local market to keep up to date with trends and developments, and use your networking skills to maximise new business opportunities.

Using our sales database, you'll accurately capture customer data and utilise reports to drive personal sales performance.

You'll ensure compliance with industry regulations and Rettie brand standards (full training will be provided).

About you

You'll already be an established property sales professional, perhaps working in a negotiator role, or ready to progress to the next stage in your career. Depending on your experience, a senior-level role may be considered.

As well as being customer-focused, you'll demonstrate strong skills in collaboration, communication, problem-solving, planning & organising, and negotiation. Bringing a positive mindset to everything you do, you'll strive to go above and beyond and be self-motivated to meet and exceed targets.

Key responsibilities
  • Overseeing and managing general office operations.
  • Providing general administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate database entry.
  • Coordinate photography appointments with both internal and freelance photographers.
  • Responsible for invoicing and general office expenses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the administrative system and process where applicable.
