Job Description
Dextra is a global leader in engineered solutions for concrete reinforcement, committed to delivering innovative products and premium services to major construction projects worldwide.

We are expanding our presence in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and are seeking a Sales Manager (UK & Ireland),to strengthen our relationships with rebar fabricators and precast operators, build influence at both shop-floor and management levels, and actively contribute to our project-oriented commercial development Location:Wales /West Midlands/South West/London. Ideally based in Newport (Wales), Bristol, or along the M4 corridor up to the M25 junction. However, we are open to considering candidates located elsewhere in the UK, provided they have the right experience and are willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities include:
Market Development & Sales:
  • Drive business development efforts with rebar fabricators and precast companies, focusing on relationship-building at shop floor level and with key decision-makers.
  • Promote Dextra's full product and service offering, including premium services.
  • In coordination with the General Manager, Sales UK, identify and qualify key infrastructure and building projects (through fabricators or not); build and maintain a project pipeline.
  • Participate in targeted industry exhibitions to promote Dextra's solutions, expand professional networks, and conduct market intelligence.
Customer Engagement:
  • Conduct regular visits and presentations to clients and fabrication facilities, ensuring Dextra is top of mind when it comes to innovation, reliability, and service.
  • Educate and train partners on Dextra solutions, including in-factory demonstrations of our systems.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and back-office logistics teams to provide optimal customer support and follow-up.
  • Support and coordinate sales efforts with fabricators' sales teams, organizing periodic meetings to refine strategy and set short- and medium-term objectives.
Coordination & Collaboration:
  • Support the regional management team in aligning commercial strategies with project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, fabricators).
  • Participate in key project follow-ups and specification initiatives alongside consultants when needed.
Reporting & Strategic Input:
  • Provide monthly reports covering market activity, project updates, customer feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to sales forecasts and coordinate with fabricators on capacity and inventory needs
Qualifications:
  • AtleastaBachelor'sDegreeinCivilEngineeringorequivalent
  • Minimum5-10yearsofexperienceinsaleswithintheconstructionorrebarfabricationindustry.
  • ExcellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsinEnglish.
ITSskills:
  • CRM Systems: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing sales activities and market intelligence.
  • Microsoft Office: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  • SalesandQuotationTools:Familiaritywithsalesandquotationmanagementtools
OtherSkills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build rapport at both shop floor and managerial levels.
