Sales Manager - Civil Engineering

Location: Co. Antrim

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (negotiable, depending on experience) + Bonus, Life Insurance, Healthcare & Pension

Our client, a leading business in the civil engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with industry experience to play a key role in driving growth and strengthening client relationships. This role offers flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small sales team, driving performance and achieving revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders within the engineering industry.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and enhancing market position.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and construction projects to support competitive tender submissions.
• Lead the bid and tender process, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and logistics to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and support business development strategies.
• Deliver regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
• Motivate, mentor, and train the sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and vision.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Criteria:

• Proven track record in sales within the engineering or construction sectors.
• Previous management experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to client management.

Package:
