Job Description

Rivan Industries () is a synthetic fuel company dedicated to decarbonising heavy industry. Our goal is to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and to help sustain life on earth by sequestering CO2 underground.

We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants that include a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, integrated with off-grid DC solar and the European gas grid. We recently deployed the UK's largest synthetic fuel plant and plan to expand this scale by 1000 times in the next two years.

We are seeking a Sales Manager to expand our existing business as we scale our manufacturing and deployment efforts. Rivan offers a disruptive technology and approach to the traditional energy market, providing a unique opportunity to develop relationships and contracts that will influence the future of heavy industry decarbonisation.

Our primary goal is to reduce the levellised cost of methane to the point where drilling ceases and companies turn to atmospheric carbon capture. The role includes:

  • Building long-term, above-market priced contracts for eMethane across the UK and Europe
  • Managing the entire process from outreach and engagement to negotiation, closing, and delivery
  • Market analysis and strategic execution
  • Establishing contracts and relationships with strategic buyers in government and military sectors

Core skills required:

  • At least 7 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record in large-scale contract procurement within eMethane, biogas, or related markets

Additional specifics:

  • Salary range of £70,000 to £90,000 depending on experience
  • Significant share options as part of the early team
  • In-person work at our headquarters in Bermondsey, South-East London
  • Extensive relocation support, including an additional £6,000 per year to live near our HQ
