Job Description

Salary: £80k to £100kpa basic+car/car allowance+commission



Overview

This a key vacancy within our client's business, a leader in their sector. The role of Sales Manager will have operational responsibilities as well as strategic support. The candidate will play a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership.



Responsibilities

  • Execution of the Business Sales Strategy

  • Deliver sales objectives; projecting expected sales revenues for new and existing products.

  • Identify and meet sales opportunities, and strategically sell all our client's offering into prospective clients.

  • Relationships: Manage key external and internal relationships to best effect to drive growth, develop our position in the sector and facilitate engagement.

  • Budget setting: Aid with setting an appropriate sales budget for the year/Quarter/month with the Sales Director.

  • Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople

  • Provide guidance for and oversee the activities of the sales team

  • Oversee the provision of regular sales and product training

  • Continuous evaluation of the sales team progress and providing coaching, training and development to maximise performance and personal growth.

  • Motivate and incentivise the team appropriately so that targets and optimal working styles are achieved.

  • Ensure weekly and monthly sales reporting is timely so that the business is kept informed about sales progress and market trends.



Experience / Knowledge

  • Proven significant experience within a Senior Sales position

  • Proven experience of selling e-billing and e-invoicing products including electronic document storage, electronic document presentment and scanning solutions.

  • Must be able to demonstrate proven sales experience of growing a business and have relevant industry experience



Skills / Abilities

  • Able to manage existing customer relationships, and proactively develop new customer relationships

  • Excellent presentation skills that inspire the audience

  • Manages their own development; sets development objectives and achieves them

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Ability to work both as part of a team and under own initiative

  • Commercially and financially astute

  • Strong organisational and planning skills
