Your new company
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Ledger Clerk to join their Transactional Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, managing payment processing, and contributing to a smooth-running finance function.
Your new role
- Reviewing bank for incoming payments and correctly inputting them into customer accounts
- Raising invoices, credit notes, and customer statements, and ensuring timely distribution
- Uploading invoices and credits for credit-approved customers
- Allocating payments with accuracy and efficiency
- Updating weekly cash flow and reporting financial figures to stakeholders
- Raising stock orders and compiling commission statements
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of the accounts
- Applying for customer credit limits
- Supporting customer queries and providing financial assistance as needed
- Assisting in the organisation of work-related events and activities
- Carrying out any additional duties reasonably required
