Job Description

Arla Foods are currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support our Commercial team at our Head Office in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving FMCG environment and is motivated by the chance to make a real business impact.

How you will make an impact

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with management at all levels, making strong communication and relationship-building skills essential. You'll be expected to support and challenge constructively, contributing to meaningful conversations and decisions. As a valued partner to the Commercial team, you'll be deeply integrated into the function, helping drive performance and insight.

Key responsibilities include
  • Acting as the key finance business partner and trusted advisor to a specific Sales team
  • Reviewing monthly performance and signing off month end
  • Driving effective performance dialogue and challenge within the Sales teams
  • Forecasting and reviewing the Commercial P&Ls
  • Driving and preparing sound business cases as required e.g. tenders and costings
  • Working closely with the Senior Sales team to maximize our price opportunities in the market
  • Managing risk and ensuring we have sound controls e.g. customer agreement accruals
  • Helping to drive improvements in DSO and aged debt
  • Supporting other members of the Commercial finance team
What will make you successful?

We're looking for a qualified accountant with proven experience in Finance Business Partnering. You'll be comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and meeting tight deadlines, with a proactive and self-driven approach. Strong influencing skills and sound judgement are essential, alongside the ability to build positive relationships across the business and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with SAP and BW is highly desirable.
