Arcon Recruitment is seeking an ambitious, personable and motivated Sales Executive to join an established motor dealership in Co. Mayo.

Previous car sales experience is not required. Experience in sales is an advantage, but applications are welcome from people in retail, hospitality, customer service and other backgrounds who have the drive to succeed.

The Opportunity

This role is about building relationships, understanding customers' needs and helping them choose the right vehicle.

You will deliver a welcoming, attentive and professional experience from the first conversation through to vehicle handover and aftersales follow-up. The aim is to build trust and lasting relationships that bring customers back again.

Product knowledge and sales processes can be learned. What matters most is your attitude, initiative and willingness to put in the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a positive, professional first impression.
• Understand customers' requirements and guide them through suitable vehicle options.
• Develop knowledge of the vehicle range, features and available services.
• Arrange appointments, vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Respond promptly to showroom, telephone and online enquiries.
• Follow up with prospective customers and build your own sales pipeline.
• Work towards sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate customer records and complete sales documentation.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure a smooth vehicle handover.
• Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.

Earning Potential and Development

• Uncapped earning potential linked to sales performance.
• The employer indicates that ote of €60,000 plus on year one.
• These figures represent potential total earnings, rather than a guaranteed basic salary, and depend on performance and the agreed remuneration package.
• Support to learn the products, sales processes and day-to-day dealership operations.

Based in Co. Mayo, this opportunity may suit candidates travelling from Castlebar, Claremorris, Westport, Cong, Kilmaine, Shrule, Hollymount, Headford, Tuam and surrounding areas.
