We are expanding our Internal Divisional Sales team and seeking a driven, confident, and resilient Sales Executive to join our brand-new division. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career within a high-growth industry, working alongside a dynamic and ambitious team.
As a Sales Executive, you'll be selling into the welding industry, engaging daily with a customer base known for their direct, no-nonsense communication style. Success in this role requires a strong, energetic presence and the ability to build rapport with working-class professionals who appreciate straightforward, efficient service. If you're someone who can match that energy, speak with conviction, and get the job done with minimal fuss, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop your own portfolio of welding industry accounts
- Drive new business through proactive telephone sales
- Follow up on emails and quotes to secure opportunities
- Overcome objections with confidence and professionalism
- Build and maintain strong, direct client relationships
- Conduct thorough fact-finding to understand customer needs
- Collaborate effectively across the division
- Strengthen and re-establish relationships with existing customers
Who You Are & What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in telephone-based sales
- Confident, direct communicator who can hold their own in tough conversations
- Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills
- Resilient, self-motivated, and proactive approach
- Target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving results
- Energetic, assertive, and able to build rapport with straightforward, working-class customers
- Not afraid to be direct and get the job done-minimal fuss, maximum impact
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing division
- Experience selling into the welding or construction industry (desirable)
- Experience managing a portfolio of accounts (desirable)
