Accountabilities- Manage a team of Sales Engineers for a growing team of security-focused sales engineers.
- Ensure effective technical field sales coverage for assigned sales territory account base.
- Coach, mentor and develop Sales Engineers skill-set to meet current and emerging sales opportunity needs.
- Engage with leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish key stakeholders and business-line owners.
- Drive customer and partner meetings through sales calls, relationship building, solution selling, and problem resolution.
- Provide guidance on complex technical issues utilizing in-depth knowledge of the company, products, industry, and solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and address technical questions in early customer engagements.
- Support customers during proof-of-concept projects, ensuring they realize measurable value.
- Experience with enterprise software solutions, with a demonstrable interest in learning.
- Deep knowledge of AI & LLM, including understanding training methods and application architectures.
- Familiarity with AI Security knowledge including prompt injection, sensitive information disclosure, and risk mitigation.
- 7+ years of experience in consulting or sales engineering roles - particularly in security incident response.
- 2+ years of experience in direct management or leadership of a technical team, especially remote employees.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting with senior executives.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to challenges.
- Experience with log management, SIEM, and EDR is a significant bonus.
