Sales Analytics SVP

The Sales Analytics SVP will play a key role in leading and delivering the Data & Analytics related to the Sales Related Data such as Client Value, Sales Productivity, Profitability, External Wallet Data, Credit Lines and Risk Metrics. This role has a Global footprint and will have significant impact in terms of influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others across the Global Sales and broader Markets organization.
This position requires collaboration with various teams within Global Sales (e.g., Sales Management, Client Management, and Client Strategy, Client Facilitation and Regional teams) and more broadly across Markets, to align, coordinate, challenge and implement results with components of the data intelligence and analytics framework.
This hands on role will be responsible for identifying, anticipating, challenging, and mitigating risks related to data that could affect business objectives, and minimizing operational challenges for data acquisition / quality / maintenance / management etc. This role will also be responsible for the application of in depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new data techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function.
Responsibilities- Client Value rules of the road review and challenge
- Productivity measures definition and validation
- Client Wallets submission and replay to Sales
- Lead various Data efforts, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality and database management or database architecture / design engineering
- Follow and enhance standard guidelines, best practices and identify / resolve data related issues in a timely manner
- Manage workflow or process change and redesign, of the multiple data feeds & analytics. Accountable for regular reporting and process administration
- Help lead and guide a full Technology team
- Evaluate complex issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
- 10+ years of experience
- Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry preferred
- Deep modeling expertise and experience with analytic techniques and tools
- Excellent analytical thinking, practical problem solving abilities, and partnership skills
- Expertise in R, Python, H2O, and SAS
- Willing to learn and can-do attitude
- Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred
