Duties of the Sales Administrator:
  • Processing vehicle orders, registrations, tax documentation, stock movements, transfers, dealer swaps, and handovers
  • Liaising confidently with manufacturers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicles, stock lists, demonstrator fleets, and sales documentation across systems
  • Producing reports, conducting file audits, supporting profit checks, and completing administrative housekeeping
  • Managing purchase, stock, funding, and compliance activities for used vehicles
  • Supporting the sales team with administrative duties to promote seamless operations across new, used, and corporate sales
Requirements of the Sales Administrator:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in motor trade administration, with a proven track record
  • Experience in sales administration preferred; warranty or service administration considered
  • Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach to multiple tasks
  • Confident communicator capable of liaising effectively with colleagues, manufacturers, and external partners
  • Attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with Kerridge or similar systems is advantageous
  • A team player demonstrating integrity, accountability, and a proactive approach
