Your new role
As Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function and ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and accurately marking up customer orders within strict timelines
- Checking orders and ensuring accuracy prior to dispatch
- Handling inbound customer calls in a professional and timely manner
- Managing a shared inbox and responding to order enquiries
- Raising manual overnight and collection orders
- Investigating discrepancies including shortages, credits, and returns
- Coordinating proof of delivery (POD) requests and sample orders
- Completing order matching and follow-ups
- Supporting wider administrative duties, including order entry and invoice processing
- Assisting management with ad hoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a sales administration or office-based role
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience within a product-based or order-processing environment would be advantageous
