Main duties of the job

Work with a Cutting-Edge Practice: Our practice isbuilt around innovation and patient-centred care. We were pioneers inintroducing telephone consulting over 8 years ago and have continually refinedour systems to ensure excellent patient access while maintaining GP controlover their workload.

Comprehensive Support System: We aim to minimizeadministrative burdens for GPs by leveraging our highly skilled MedicalSecretary team, Medicines Management team, and dedicated clinical andadministrative support. Youll have the time and space to focus on what mattersmost: delivering exceptional care to your patients.

Job responsibilities

Job summary

We are a large successful training practice across twodispensing sites with a practice owned on site Pharmacy and an award-winningresearch team.

We are passionate about a high standard of health andwellbeing for our staff and our patients. We are looking for someone who willshare this vision and thrive with us.

We would like to appoint a salaried GP (with the option ofpartnership) to replace a retiring partner to join our large multidisciplinarypractice.

We would welcome applications for 6-9 sessions per weekwith a starting salary of £11,180 per session per annum.

Main duties of the job

We introduced telephone consulting over 8 years ago. We havecontinually improved our system to achieve good patient access and satisfaction;whilst still allowing the GPs to remain in control of their workload and theirday.

We have worked hard to reduce the level of administrativework for our GPs through our skilled Medical Secretary team processing tasks,E-Consults and medical reports; Medical Optimisation team dealing withmedication queries and reconciliation; clinical support to help reducepathology processing and an Administrative Support team to assist with QOF, systems, codingand data.

We encourage all our staff to take opportunities to developother interests to enhance their day-to-day general practice. We wouldencourage any new GPs to develop other skills that would contribute to thepractice or work with us on any of the following:

TrainingGP registrars, F2 doctors, medical students, pharmacists, and nurses.

Workingwith our dedicated research team.

Supportingthe dispensaries and practice owned on-site pharmacy.

Womenshealth clinics

SpecialistDermatology clinics

Minoroperations and joint injections

GreenImpact for Health Silver Award, working towards the Gold award.

Veteran Friendly Accreditation

Each day the on-call GP is supported by a team of AdvancedNurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Mental Health Nurses, Physios andClinical Pharmacists, and a full-time Social Prescriber. For a practice of this size, we have a small number ofdaily home visit requests.

Our large clinical team is supported by a dynamic,well-structured management and administrative team to allow smooth andefficient running of the practice. This also enables us to seize opportunitiesto innovate and further improve our patient care and the wellbeing of ourstaff.
