Salaried GP Role

Available Monday and Friday plus one other day

Either newly qualified or experienced GP needed to join established 3 Partner Practice offering competitive salary, 6 weeks holiday and 1 week study leave (pro-rata)

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a GP, either newly qualified or experienced GP to work in our supportive and collaborative environment with a commitment to providing excellent patient centred care.

Role includes daily clinical consultations, chronic disease management, reviewing lab results, electronic signing of prescriptions and contributing to support other Clinical Staff and the duty doctor rota.

About us

We are a training Practice hosting GP Trainees and medical students.

The Practice has 3 GP Partners, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 HCA's together with supportive administrative Team.

Partners have a special interest in women's health, diabetes, minor surgery.

We offer 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave (both pro-rata)

The Practice offers great Team culture, regular Clinical Meetings.

Well staffed PCN including in-house pharmacy hub and Home Visiting Team.

Job responsibilities

GP needed to work in a modern, forward thinking Practice based in a lovely part of Essex in a modern Primary Care Building with onsite parking and air-conditioned offices.

You will need to be a positive, motivated GP for our friendly Practice Team with a list size of 11,000 ensuring the highest standards of care to our patients.

Person Specification Qualifications

• Current registration with GMC and engaged in regular clinical work
• Be on NHSE medical performers list
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (where appropriate)

Experience

• Experience of working as a GP in UK General Practice (including as a new qualified GP)
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary Team
• Able to manage acute presentations and long-term conditions in Primary Care
• Experience using clinical IT system
• Experience of Systmone Practice
• Experience of QOF, enhanced services or quality improvement activity
