Salaried GP

Salaried GP required for busy dispensing two site practice.

We are looking for a part time salaried GP for 6 to 8 sessions to join our highly experienced and friendly team.

You would be working alongside our 6 partners, 7 salaried GPs, 3 nurse practitioners and 4 clinical pharmacists, with the full support of our nurses, HCAs, reception and admin team.

Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group. The role will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Main duties of the job

All applicants should have the following qualifications:

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list

and skills, including:

• Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
• Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
• Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
• Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.

Located close to the city of Chelmsford, we are a 2-site, friendly training practice with over 21,000 patients.
