Salaried GP

Situatedin the beautiful Forest of Dean, we work in a purpose-built medical centreoccupied in August 2020. We offer 15minute appointments with a growing list of just over 6000 patients.

We perform highly at QoFand enhanced services alongside optional improved access.

Main duties of the job

General Practitioners see patients daily to care for their general well-being. A General Practitioner main duties and responsibilities include:

• Compling with all legislation applicable to practising medicine
• Conducting physical examinations, tests or procedures to diagnose patients
• Maintaining accurate medical records for all patients
• Making recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve the patients quality of life
• Prescribing medication, treatment or therapy to patients
• Explaining test results and medical procedures to patients
• Training junior Doctors and other healthcare professionals
• Consulting with other Doctors about the specialised needs of some patients

About us

Wehave a wonderful team of 2 partners and 3 salaried GP s with a fantasticnursing team who will support you. We have a Clinical pharmacist, a pharmacytechnician, a GP assistant, an ANP and other ARRS support staff.

As atraining practice, we are open to newly qualified GPs and those who requiretier 2 visa sponsorship. Gloucestershire is a beautiful county with quick linksnationally and with good schools in the area.

Person Specification Qualifications

• Qualified GP

Experience

• Previous experience in a GP Practice
• It would be beneficial to the Practice for the applicant to have interests in specialisation areas
