About us

We are a well-established, innovative, hardworking GMS practice based in Bootle with approximately 6000 patients using EMIS Web and AccuRx. We are a supportive team that values staff commitment and are keen to support further development and have been involved in training for prescribing and clinical skills and are heavily involved in local innovative pilots for health development. We have a motivated team which includes:

• 2 GP Partners
• 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner
• 1 Practice Nurse
• 2 HCA
• Supportive Administrative Team

Main duties of the job

• Clinical responsibility for patients.
• Administrative responsibility reviewing hospital letters, reports and investigations.
• Engaging with other professionals in the Primary Care and Secondary Care teams and community health professionals and medicines management professionals.
• Responsibility for appropriate documentation of clinical encounters using current IT systems.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification Qualifications

• MB ChB or equivalent
• MRCGP or equivalent

Depending on experience £44,000 - £48,000 for 4 clinical sessions
