Job Description

We are looking for a list-holding Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions perweek to join our team at the Three Spires Medical Practice in Truro, Cornwall.

Main duties of the job About the role

Working 4 - 6 sessions per week, you will be a list-holderwith responsibility for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to adiverse population, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team toprovide holistic healthcare solutions.You will actively engage in clinical meetings, audits, and qualityimprovement initiatives.

Salary: £12,700 per session,per annum.

Based withinTruro Health Park, The Three Spires Medical Practice looks after around 18,000patients and 4 care homes within Truro and nearby.

We arecommitted to continuity of care, maintaining our strong patient satisfactionratings and low staff turnover. We lookafter each other, as well as our patients.

We are a learningpractice, hosting GP Trainees, Medical Students and Student Nurses from thePeninsula School of Primary Care and the University of Exeter.

Job responsibilities

Mixof telephone, Accurx dialogue, and face to face consultations.

Checking,reviewing and signing repeat prescriptions.

Responsiblefor dealing with queries, patient test results, referral letters NHS/private,task, emails and other paperwork and correspondence.

Clinicalmanagement of the patients as appropriate including initiating investigations,reviewing results, making referrals to secondary care or to other providers asappropriate.

Developcare and treatment plans in consultation with patients and in line with currentpractice disease management protocols as well wider guidance such as that fromNICE.

Responsiblefor following up on own initiated investigations, referrals, tasks, emails andother paperwork to ensure actions are completed.

Experience
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Eager to learn and grow in a tech-enabled healthcare environment.
  • Strong clinical skills with an evidence-based approach to patient care.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records and embracing new technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about technology and improving healthcare outcomes.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
