Salaried GP - 6-8 sessions (flexible)

Salaried GP post at Alma Medical Centre, a training practice of around 10,500 patients, advertised by Hartlepool & Stockton Health GP Federation on the practice's behalf. The core work is routine and urgent consultations, long-term condition management, shared home visits and the duty doctor rota. The practice is a Deep End site offering flexible sessions, with six to eight preferred but negotiable, plus teaching of medical students and GP registrars. Applicants need GMC registration with licence to practise, MRCGP and NHS Performers List inclusion.

What the job involves

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care within a supportive team
• Routine and urgent GP consultations
• Long-term condition management
• Home visits on a shared basis

• Managing clinical correspondence, referrals and prescriptions
• Supporting quality improvement and clinical governance

What's required Qualifications

• MRCGP
• CCT or equivalent, and eligibility to practise independently in the UK
