Job Description
Overview

Salaried GP post available. 5 session post (20 hours per week). Salary £83,950 - £125,157 per annum (incl of 2% local supplement). Plus Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum (all pro-rata for part time positions). A relocation assistance of up to £8,000 is available.

Responsibilities

The core role includes providing medical services in a dispensing practice, supported by a dedicated team. You will have time to spend with patients and build relationships based on trust and compassion. You will work closely with clinicians based in Bixter and Walls to ensure excellent primary care for the community. The successful candidate will be supported to develop specialist interests.

You may be considered for an Early Career Fellow role, which combines salaried practice with development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

We welcome applications from experienced GPs, or newly qualified GPs who may be interested in an Early Career Fellow.

  • Protected time to develop an area of special interest (areas on offer: Mental Health, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Frailty and Greener Practice).
  • Protected time to engage in professional development opportunities (First 5 group, cluster, clinical pathways, medical interface group, and Protected Learning Time).
  • Opportunity to join the voluntary out of hour's rota.
