Safety Lead Supervisors

£26.17 per hour

MSSI Infrastructure Ltd are recruiting experienced Safety Lead Supervisors to support construction teams across multiple live infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

The Role

You will work closely with site supervisors, foremen and managers to promote safe working practices, improve safety standards and support teams on site. This is a hands-on role focused on coaching, monitoring compliance and helping teams work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Support site teams with daily briefings and task plans.
• Promote safe working practices and challenge unsafe behaviours.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and safety controls are understood and followed.
• Identify and highlight site risks and potential hazards.
• Support stop-work interventions when safety controls are insufficient.
• Record observations and follow up on actions.
• Work closely with supervisors and managers to improve safety performance.

Requirements

• NEBOSH qualification or relevant construction supervision qualification (NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent).
• CSCS Gold Supervisor Card, Black Manager Card or equivalent.
• Previous construction supervisory experience.
• Good understanding of RAMS, POWRA and permit systems.
• Experience within infrastructure, civils, tunnelling, structures or lifting operations preferred.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
