Safeguarding and Welfare Support Officer - Banbury Site

About this role

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, professional and dedicated individual, with proven experience, to take on responsibility at the college as a Safeguarding and Welfare Support Officer at our Banbury Site. You will ensure the safety of all students on base by providing a range of interventions and support, at both individual and group level, and by building robust safeguarding processes which result in improved outcomes and opportunities for the young people and their families we work with.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions to support students according to their needs and safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Work alongside the DSL, Deputy DSLs and the wider leadership team on the Banbury base.
• Support children across all age groups and work closely with colleagues on base.
• Provide appropriate interventions to support students and drive and have own vehicle to support caseload across all four academy sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience in safeguarding, welfare support or related practice. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school leadership.
